For instance, an LCD projector's brightness is a key buying factor, but if you're not planning to frequently give presentations in large conference rooms or classrooms, you may not need high performance in this area.

• Brightness
• Connectivity
• Resolution
• Lamp life 

Be sure to also keep in mind the fact that these devices are easily available for rental. If you don't plan on using one all that often, that may be your best alternative.
